Looking at the general tab on the inventory screen, the GP% field is utilized to control the retail price of an item as the cost changes. This feature reviews how the feature is used. The GP% drives the calculation of the desired Gross Profit %. If a rounding table is present within the system, the derived price reflects the rounding.
