This displays the serial number of a serialized part or lot.

Once you enter the item, a window opens for you to select the serial number, enter a new one, or special order the item.

This opens a list of serial numbers currently in stock to match to the item currently being purchased.

This allows you to enter a new serial number if it is not in the system.
