Open Drawer (F9)
Click Open Drawer to gain access to the cash drawer contents, if a cash drawer is present. You are prompted to enter your login information and then enter a reason to open the drawer.
Upon clicking OK, the drawer opens.
The correct cash drawer type and which cash drawer, if there are multiple drawers at a work station, must be selected in System | Workstation | General to allow the Open Drawer function.
The following receipt prints each time Open Drawer is used to open the cash drawer. Additionally, the TransActPOS log file records the drawer open sequence.
