Selling Unit to Pricing Relationship

The key concept behind the quantity break prices for different units of measure is found within the relationship between the Qty Prices screen within the Pricing tab and the related units of measure found within the Lookup screen.

In this example, when selling unit of 12PK was added within the Qty Prices screen, the system was told by the user what the New Item Number (UPC) would be for that specific selling unit. The user entered into the "New Item Number" field the UPC for the 12PK product. The system then automatically added the UPC - in this case - to the possible lookups for this item within the Lookup By screen.

In the Lookup By screen below, when the system has the same UPC (or other reference number) directed to more than one unit of measure, the system will prompt the user for the appropriate selling unit at the point of sale.
