Floor Plans
Serialized products may be assigned to a floor plan for tracking purposes. Review the IC | Inventory File | Inventory Types | Serialization section for further details.
The Floor Plan ID may be assigned to serialized items within the IC | Inventory File | Serial No.s | Detail Screen as seen in the sample below. The Detail screen displays the main unit, add-ons, and the total price, cost, and margin for the selected serialized item. Floor plan information may also be attached to the specific serialized item to support reports.
Change Plan
The change plan button allows the user to assign a floor plan to an item. Assigning an item to a floor plan allows the store owner to recognize when a floor plan is coming due and allow price compensation in a effort to sell the inventory. Prior to assigning a vendor and floor plan to an item, the vendor must be established and the available floor plans created. Refer to the Floor Plan Setup within the IC | Vendor portion of the system for more information.
When a floor plan has been selected, the lower portion of the Detail screen will reflect the general description of the plan.
