Unit of Measure

Any units of measure used in Displaying, Stocking, Purchasing, and Ordering can be defined.

 

Select a Unit ID and click on the Properties button. The information for that unit will be displayed and can be edited as needed.

 

For units of multiple units, change the Factor option to reflect the relationship. (i.e. 12 for a dozen in a carton or 0.08333 for 1 inch in a foot)

 

To enter a new Unit ID, select one of the predefined Short abbreviations.

 

Press the TAB key and enter the Unit ID name to be used, description, Short Desc. and Factor.
