Stock Alert Overview

If a stocked item has stock alert checked in IC | Inventory File | Inventory Maintenance and the item's quantity on-hand level is below the Min stock level, then this item will meet the requirements to post to the Stock Alert item list.  To run stock alert, go to IC | Stock Alert and set the counter for the interval of time TransActPOS will recheck itself.  If any items are found in the status, select Details to view the listing.  The Inventory Stock Alert runs on one workstation. If TransActPOS is closed, the Stock Alert must be restarted.
