Customer Types

Depending upon your circumstances, your listing of customer types will vary.  Click on the New button to create a new customer type of highlight one of the listed types and click the Properties tab to edit the customer type.

 

In this example, the FARM customer type applies to the location of KY and is exempt of both state and local tax.

 

Within the AR | Customer File | Accounting tab, the type of sales tax for the customer is established.
