Non-Tax Types

Most businesses provide a non-taxable service or inventory item.  Create the appropriate non-taxable inventory item type to best fit your needs. Then, apply these non-tax item types to the corresponding inventory items.  Click the New button to create a new non-tax type or highlight one of the listed types and click the Properties tab to edit the non-tax type.

 

Enter the Non Taxes Type ID and a Description of the non-tax type.

 

Within the IC | Inventory File, each item is assigned a tax status from the tax table if it is taxable.
