TransActPOS Document Scanning and Management
The TransActPOS Document Scanning and Management application provides the user with a two click feature to scan a series of documents with little intervention.
Automatic sorting and management of the following document types:
Invoices
Delivery Tickets
Sales Order
Quotes
Purchase Orders
Packing Slips
Customer Notes and Documents
Vendor Notes and Documents
Assumption: The document to be scanned has a TransActPOS DSM barcode in the top right corner of the document. The location of the barcode is critical to the accuracy of the scanning process.
If your document is not originally printed from the TransActPOS DSM application, a DSM label can be printed so that the documents can be scanned within the system. For example, a packing slip may be included with a vendor's shipment. The packing slip can be scanned into the system then associated with the original purchase order activity.
The TransActPOS Document Scanning (DocScan) module manages the scanning of the document from the TWAIN-compatible scanner and attaches the scanned file to the appropriate document inside the selected module.
