Display Pole Errors

Display Pole Errors
If the USB port is changed from the original port assigned during installation, the following error will occur.  To resolve, return the USB cable to the original port and then power cycle the display pole.  If the USB port can not be returned to the original port, remove the device from within Device Manager (right click and uninstall) and then reinstall the display pole driver.

To access the device manager, right click the My Computer icon (depending on the version of Windows, on your desktop or in the start menu) and click on Properties. On Windows Vista and 7, the screen that pops up will have a link to the Device Manager on the left. Anything prior to that, go to the Hardware tab and click on Device Manager. Both versions look generally the same.
