MMF Two Cash Drawer Setup

TransActPOS is capable of managing two drawers per workstation and can restrict access to the drawer based upon security settings.

This tutorial addresses the physical setup of the drawers. Additional software setup information is found within System > Workstations > General > Cash Drawer.

Note: The "Y" connector does not determine the drawer activity. The characteristics of the cable which connects the cash drawer to the "Y" connector determines the drawer numbering.

1) First connect the "Y" connector to the back of the receipt printer.

2) Connect the cable labeled printer #1 into the first drawer.

3) Connect the cable labeled printer #2 into the second drawer.
