ProQuest PartsManagerPro

Installing the PartsManagerPro application is a straight forward process.  

Server Installation and Updates

First, follow the instructions included for installing the "Software CD" and the "Data CD(s)" onto the designated PartsManagerPro server.
Once installed, the Business System Directory under Utilities should be set to the local drive (C or D most likely) Transactposserver\tapartsrun.exe

Workstation Updates

Next, at each client workstation, follow the installation directions according to the instructions included with PartsManagerPro.
Firewall Considerations
If a workstations fails to start the ProQuest PartsManagerPro Client application with an error such as "Server <2024> at <Shop3> not reachable", the firewall on the designated server may be the problem.
 
Add to the PartsManagerPro server's exceptions the following files:
