PARC Orders Overview

The PARC Orders program is designed to enable your store to take advantage of special type offers or buying opportunities from your supplier. From True Value Company they include:
  • Promotional type ordering
  • Aim Planograms
  • Market Relay
  • Connect 4 Profit
 
With the PARC Orders program,  the data from your supplier is imported into TransActPOS and compared with your current inventory.  Your previous year's sales history, for the intended selling period, is viewable to aid in your purchasing decision.  Ranking of your inventory A, B, C, and D items will also be a tremendous aid in allowing you to select the best deal that fits your store. There is a visual cue, as to the percentage of cost savings, from a traffic light icon. The cost savings is calculated by using ECatalog cost versus buying opportunity cost. If you set the desired savings at 5%, you will get a yellow light when the savings are 5%-.1%  When the savings are 0% or below, you will see a red light in the traffic icon and anything above 5% will result in a green light in the traffic icon.
 
Numerous filtering options to sort the various buying opportunities into manageable information are available.  Items can be sorted by Class, Manufacturer, or inventory ranking.  Options can be set to display all items in the special offering, store match, or not in store. Merchandise can be displayed by manufacturers with spiffs, without spiffs, or all manufacturers.
