Marking an Item That is Discontinued
1. Locate the item by its item number in IC | Inventory File.
2. Select Edit Item
3. Add a prefix such as (666) to the Item
4. Highlight the item description
5. Select Ctrl + X on your keyboard to ”cut” the description
6. Move the cursor to the Comment field
7. Select Ctrl + V on your keyboard to ”paste” the ”cut” description into the Comment field
8. Un-check Resellable, Special Order, Stock Alert, Warranty Info, and WebStore Item
9. Delete Location , Model, Class, Code, Fine, Sub-Fine, Seasonal, Order Qty, and Min
10. Add Delete into Class This will require setting up Delete as a Class in Support Files
11. Select Save
12. A Screen asking "Save the Original Item ID: 022281442 as a secondary item lookup?" will appear, Select No.
13. Select Lookup By, and Delete any information in the displayed grid.
