Do it Best Rewards

The first step in setting up Do-it-Best's rewards/loyalty program is making sure you have registered with Do It Best Reward Program. Be aware that the rewards certificates use SKU number range of 000000 to -099999. You will need to make sure in your inventory that you are not already using that range for inventory items.

 

Next you will need to make sure you have purchased the TransActPOS Do it Best Loyalty module to allow this from Profile Systems Design Group.  Enable it within the Company Setup. Click on System | Company Setup | Properties and click on Loyalty - DIB and check the box to participate in the loyalty program. You also will want to check the "Card must be present" box.

 

 

You are now ready to sign customers up for the rewards program. TransActPOS does a lot of the work for you. When a customer signs up or brings in their card, you can scan their card when looking for a customer by highlighting the "Frequent Buyer ID" field.

 

 

Entering a rewards id into this field (by keying it in or scanning) that is not attached to a customer will bring up a prompt asking if you want to search for a customer to tie the ID to. If you click Yes, it will allow you to find a customer and the system will automatically tie the ID to that customer. If you click No, you can just ring the sale through a cash customer and the points will still tie to the rewards ID.
