Creating a Coupon

To create a new coupon, go to IC | Inventory File, and click New.
Creating a Coupon
This opens the New Item Wizard.  Enter an item ID, description, and any other information provided on the coupon (if an actual coupon if present).  Click Save, and then click Save again to exit the wizard and view the inventory file.
 
In the inventory file, click Edit, and change the item type to Coupons.  If necessary, change the matrix to the applicable value.  Enter the amount or percent off and a minimum purchase amount if applicable.
 
You can also enter a class, a GL sales code, and any desired notes.
 
Click Save to complete the coupon.  You may wish to test the coupon in Ring Sale.
