A previously saved temporary PO file was found

The TransActPOS system will create temporary copies of the current purchase order to help resolve workstations issues that can occur.  If the power where to shut off and the workstation connection restart, if the purchase order was saved at least once by selecting the Save button, the system will save the current purchase order contents to a temporary file.

The following prompt is in response to the presence of a temporary purchase order file.  The correct response should be "Yes".  Responding "Yes" will instruct the system to load the contents of the temporary detail listing of the purchase order.

Why does this occur?

Typically, user distraction is the issue and TransActPOS compensates for the behavior. The scenario is the user selected Save and then continues with the edit of the purchase order but gets pulled away to another task. In the meantime, the TransActPOS Purchase Order Auto-Save creates a temporary file of the current purchase order's detail records.  At some point, system is shutdown during the auto reboot of the TransActPOS connection by the server.  The next morning when the user returns to their desk, the y are required to log back into TransActPOS.  Returning to PO > Modify POS > Select PO menu option, the system then recognizes that a temporary purchase order is present and then presents the user with the prompt of "A previously saved temporary PO file was found. Recover the temporary PO?".  The correct response should be "Yes" which will then instruct the system to load the contents of the temporary file to replace the current purchase order details, the item numbers, with the last auto-saved items and their indicated quantities and other details.

Located in the root of the TransActPOSServer folder is an example of the existence "PO" "VID" ".XML" file with the purchase order number embedded within the file name (16334 in this example).
