Items can also be added from Electronic Catalogs based on UPC information and/or Purchase Orders
Point of Sale Auto Add
Inventory can be automatically added to inventory based upon the scanned UPC barcode. This feature is based upon the existence of the vendor's data being present within the TransActPOS Electronic Catalog. When adding at the Point of Sale the clerk is also presented with the opportunity to mark this item as a special order item if necessary.
Wireless Auto Add
The wireless auto add feature works in the same way as the Point of Sale auto add. The item is added based on UPC relationship and vendor data must be present within the TransActPOS Electronic Catalog.
Purchase Order Auto Add
Within the Purchase Order > Detail Screen the ability to auto add is also available. Once again this feature is based upon the existence of the vendor's data being present within the TransActPOS E-Catalog.
