Declining Sale Price Labels
TransActPOS does provide the ability to print a declining price label within the ThriftPAK module. At the point of sale, the clerk simply scans the item’s declining price label and then the system automatically apply the appropriate price based upon the current date.
Company Setup Elements
With the ThriftPAK activation code in place, check within Inventory Page 2, “Turn “ON” Declining Sale Price Schedule.
Within the Schedule button, enter the schedule of days and discount percentages which will appear on the label.
Access to Label Printing Function
Within the top menu listing of TransActPOS reside the Print Label button which access to the ThriftPAK label options.
Within the Print Label option are the associated print label button and the setup button.
First, select the setup gear button to configure the printer and the associated label form.
Printer and Form Setup
First select the appropriate Label Printer associated with the label type by selecting the ellipsis located far right. Choose the desired destination printer. Return to this selection menu to choose a different printer. During the print process the user does not have access to a printer selection.
The modifcation of the label is within the “label” button. Normal editing options are available within the system.
Print Discount Days Label
To print a Discount Days label, return to the Print Labels menu and select the Discount Days Label. The system will prompt the user with the customary item lookup option. Enter the desired value.
Next, the system will present the selected item with the ability to modify the Initial Retail price.
Note: Typically, the labels are considered item labels since they will be placed on each individual item since the sales clerk will be scanning this label at the point of sale.
