Generating an EstimateAn estimate is created like a service ticket. If the grid is used and includes estimates, you can select which kind of estimate to create.
![]() ![]() Items can be entered on the Detail tab or ordered through the PO Info tab the same as on a regular service ticket.
If the store requires a deposit on estimates, the Deposit screen opens after you click Save for you to enter the deposit amount and proceed to the payment screen. The estimate is saved as a service ticket.
Estimates can easily be found by selecting the Estimates button in the Find Service Ticket screen.
![]() Should a customer choose to proceed with an estimated repair, you can convert an estimate to a service ticket by editing the estimate and changing the ticket status from Estimate to Open.
