Importing the Price File

To import the price file, download and extract the CSV file to your desktop.  Open Excel, and start a new workbook.
Do not open the CSV file directly as this may improperly format data.  Instead, import the data through Excel's Import Wizard to ensure correct formatting.

On the Data tab, click From Text/CSV under the Get & Transform Data section.

Find your file, and open it.  Excel interprets the data automatically.  If the data looks correct as is, click Load to load it into a spreadsheet.

Depending on your version, Excel may apply a change that removes the leading zeros from part numbers.  If this is the case, click Transform Data to adjust the changes applied to the data.  This opens an editor showing the changes made.

Click the X next to Changed Type to reverse the change made to the data type so that any leading zeros are retained.

This adds a dropdown button next to each column header.  If you want to filter for only items that are covered by the LeMans Ad Policy, for example, you can click the dropdown button next to the Ad Policy header, and check Y, as in Yes - the item is covered.
