QuickBooks
TransActPOS releases general ledger activity and provides this information to the QuickBooks desktop application using the TAPOS2QB Posting Utility. The process of releasing general ledger information is a two-step process:
Step 1 – Within TransActPOS – Select GL Release
Step 2 – Within TAPOS2QB – Select Post
Important note: TransActPOS does not post customer or inventory information to QuickBooks; only summarized general ledger debits and credits by account number for the reporting period are posted to QuickBooks. Reports within TransActPOS provide detailed supporting information with Dataview and Drilldown features.
