Note: If receipt paper from a desktop receipt printer is being used, the paper is typically too thin to correctly indicate that paper is present. To resolve the resulting “Paper Out” issue, the paper status hole found in the front of the paper bay needs to be covered to force the paper out switch closed. Typically a portion of a label placed over the hole will solve this issue.
