Update Catalog
Select the Find Now button to display a list of the vendors with ECatalogs entered for the store. Select the appropriate vendor from the list.
Select from the available update options from the vendor's electronic catalog which fields to update within the inventory file
If you wish to go back to the Find Vendor screen, press the Vendor button in the bottom left. Once all items have been selected, press Start to begin updating the ECatalog.
The update OVERWRITES the existing data within the inventory file. If your store has created your own item descriptions for products and the Description field has been selected, the system will replace the current inventory description with the one from the selected Catalog.
Proceed with CAUTION!
Only a restore from an available backup by the TransActPOS Support staff can this issue be resolved.
