Updating Capital One Trade Credit

At time, Blue Tarp support services will publish updated credentials for their application.  The update process is simply replacing the credential file provided by Blue Tarp and replacing the existing file within the C:\Blue Tarp folder located within the server.

Applying the Security Certificate to the Bluetarp application directory.

  • Download the "cacerts" file included within the email from Capital One Trade Credit
  • Copy to the C:\Bluetarp directory and replace the existing file and select the "Copy and Replace" option
  • Once completed the date and file size should match that of the new file provided by Capital One Trade credit.

Confirm installation with the Update.bat

Locate and Run the Update.bat found within the C:\Bluetarp folder to confirm the certificate update.  By simply replacing the existing cacert file as directed above the system should be in working order.  The Update.bat utility should provide confirmation of the operation with an actual communication and verification.
