Point of Sale Module

 
The Point-of-Sale (POS) module is the main interface between clerks and customers.  In addition to handling sales and refunds, the POS module includes many functions that streamline the sales process:
 
  • Price and tax adjustment
  • Delivery and load ticket printing
  • AR customer file management
  • Access to vendor E-catalogs and direct item addition to inventory
  • Shift management with reconciliation
  • Integrated credit card processing via Verifone
 
Auxiliary functions can be accessed through the POS module, including equipment rental, service tickets, and customer account payments.
 
 
A variety of reports can be run to provide data pertaining to transactions within the POS module.  These are accessed through POS | Reports.
 
Settings for the POS module can be adjusted in System | Company Setup | POS Information 1, POS Information 2, POS Information 3, and POS Information 4.
