POS Grid

 
The grid is a series of customizable boxes that allows a clerk to quickly find items to enter into a sale.  It could be used to capture bulk items and other items that may not have a barcode, items that are stocked outside, or the entire store inventory.  Each box can contain its own grid, allowing you to create many layers of categories and sub-categories.  Pictures and descriptions can be added to each box for easier identification.  The grid can be shown or hidden on the Ring Sale screen by checking or unchecking POS Invoice w/ Integrated Grid in System | Company Setup | POS Information 4.
 
 
The following grid contains grid boxes and item boxes on the same layer.

Grid Box

1. Grid Box
Clicking on a grid box opens the next layer of grids and/or items contained within.

Item Box

2. Item Box
An item box includes the available quantity, on-hand quantity, item number, and price.  Clicking an item box adds the item to the Item Listing.
 
The Ring Sale Grid can be edited in POS | File Maintenance | Grid Layout (POS).
