Price Schemes
Different price schemes can be defined. The Price Schemes Maintenance menu will list the currently defined schemes with their ID and Description. Pricing Schemes can be utilized within Mass Pricing. Click here for more information. These pricing schemes are also utilized within the Scheme Matrix (if you have Commodity Pricing enabled within System | Company Setup | Properties | Inventory Page 2).
The Properties tab will display the detail for the currently highlighted Price Scheme. The listed Minimum and Maximum ranges may be Edited, Deleted, or Added to.
If a new Price Scheme is to be added by selecting the New button, enter a new Scheme ID.
Select one of the Type cost that the price scheme will be based on.
Markup detail ranges will now be entered. Enter a beginning minimum and maximum ranges and the markup factor. This factor is a percentage of the existing retail price. For example, if the markup factor is 1.50, items falling between the minimum and maximum entered will be marked up by 150%.
Several ranges can be entered with different multiplying factors.
Price break rounding can also be added for each range. Check the Use Rounding Method box and select values for the three break points.
