Ghost Items

The Ghost Items Report shows items that have been missed during a physical inventory.  When an item is entered (scanned) during a physical inventory, it may not require a change in the current quantity on hand BUT the system will indicate that the item has been reviewed.  This report will present items that have not been touched (entered/scanned) during a physical inventory. With the report in hand, the user may then attempt to locate this "ghost" item within the store. This item either has been placed in an area of the store that has not been inventoried or it may not be in the store at all.

Important Note:
Selecting a Class limits the reporting process to items contained only within the selected class and allows the user to concentrate on areas of the store.
Ghost Items

Order by

The report can be ordered by one of four options. You can order it by Item Number, Description, Class, or Location.

No Physical Count since

The date entered in this field will determine what items are considered "ghost" items. Any item that hasn't had a physical count since the date entered will show up on the report.

Item Characteristics Selection

Each row is its own set of options. There are three options to choose from that will make your report the way you want it.
-Resellable, Not Resellable, or Both (the report can show resellable items, not resellable items, or both)
-No Special Order, Special Order, or Both (the report can show items that aren't special order items, that are special order items, or both)
-Available Only, Not Available, or Both (the report can show items that are available, that are not available, or both)

Include ONLY On-Hand Items

If this option is selected, the report will ONLY include items that are on-hand in your inventory.

Filter Options (Right Side)

On the right side of the report is where you enter the majority of the filters for the actual report. Depending on what you want the report to actually show, you can enter as many or as little (or none) information in these filters. Granted, the more filters you have, the more detailed your report will be. If you leave all fields blank, it will report on ALL items that match the parameters set on the left side. The filters on the right are as follows:
-Class (selecting Exact Match will report on the specific class entered)
-Code
-Location (selecting Exact Match will report on the specific location entered)
-Manufacturer (clicking the button next to this field will bring up a find window that will display manufacturers in your system)
-Fine Line
