Rental Manager Pg 1The rental system defining criteria needs to be entered to determine the rental periods and account charges.
Weekend HoursWeekend hours indicate the allowed hours and days of a Weekend Rental Rate. If a rental unit has a rental rate indicated within the weekend field, this will be the allowed rental period for the unit.
Overnight HoursOvernight Rental Rate can be determined with two different definitions. The overnight rental begins and ends at the indicated times for each day the store is open. The Open and Close times are set in Rental Manager Pg2. or The overnight times are based on the number of hours before the store Close time and the number of hours after the store Open time. The Open and Close times are set in Rental Manager Pg 2.
CustomizeCheck Out / Check In - ButtonThe label of the Check Out/Check In button at the top of the Rental Contract screen can be customized to reflect what it may be called in different stores. If left blank, the system will default to "Check Out" and "Check In."
Check Out / Check In - ContractThe label that is printed at the top of the printed Rental Contract can be customized to reflect what it may be called in different stores. If left blank, the system will default to "Check Out" and "Check In."
CustomerUpon return of a rental item, the rental module can automatically create a service ticket for the rental item. The indicated ”customer” will be the service department. Create a service department customer within the accounts receivable module and then indicate it within the available field of the Rental Manager setup screen.
New Ticket StatusThe New Ticket Status field relates to the service ticket created during the return process. Within the Service Ticket Module, create a ticket status to indicate that the source of the new ticket is a rental return. By creating a specific service ticket status for rental returns, these specific tickets are identified easily within the system.
Maintenance Work TypeSelect one of the Maintenance Work Types for the default type.
PreferredSelect one of the Preferred Service Technicians.
Rev/Cost RatioOn the Rental Item Analysis report, those items that exceed the revenue/cost ratio entered will be highlighted.
Resell %Resell price is based on the percentage entered into this field.
Use Only 24 Hr RateSelecting this option will restrict your rental system to only allow 24 hour rental rates. Any rental rate that involves a 24 hour period (weeks and months) are also included. Individual hourly rates, overnight, and weekends are disabled.
