The Rental Manager screen defines the default values associated to the rental system.
Open and Store Times
The Open column indicates the days the rental department will be open while the Store Times fields relate to the store hours.
Store Closed for Holidays
Store Closed for Holidays checklist allows the user to check which holidays the rental department will be closed.
Holiday Times
The rental department's holiday store hours from the day previous to the holiday day to the day after the holiday.
Get Rental Times 1st on New Contract
Rental times are prompted for first on any new contract.
Hide Prompting (Time, Customer, etc.)
Checking this option will bypass simple prompts in the rental process.
Single entry item search
This option allows single entry item searches.
Turn "ON" Rental Grid Loop
This will turn on the rental grid loop. When you choose an item from the grid, if this option is turned on, the rental grid will appear again after you have chosen an item.
Use Hourly Rate for Meter Hrs Only
If this item is checked, only equipment with a meter will use an hourly rate. If you have an item that has an hourly rate of 11 dollars and a daily of 55 and no meter, if this box is checked and the customer rents it for 2 hours, they will be charged for the full day (55). If the box is unchecked for the same item, the customer will only be charged 22 dollars.
Hide Payment Button
This will hide the payment button on the rental form.
Reset on Cancel Check Out
If this box is checked and you are on the payment screen, if you cancel the payment, it cancels the check out.
Invoice Check-Out & Sched
This option invoices the amount due at check out and schedule changes.
Rate for Open Days Only
This option only uses open days for rent accumulation
Exclude 4hr rate exceeded
Once the time of rental exceeds 4 hours, the 4hr rental rate will be excluded if this option is selected.
