This Rental Manager screen allows you to set up some default values for the rental system.

Cleaning Fee Item

Within the Inventory Control module, create a non-stock inventory item for cleaning fees. Once this item has been established, indicate the appropriate item number in the field provided in the Rental Manager setup screen.

Damage Waiver Fee Item

Within the Inventory Control module, create a non-stock inventory item for damage waiver fees. Once this item has been established, indicate the appropriate item number in the field provided in the Rental Manager setup screen.

Fuel Charge Item

Within the Inventory Control module, create a non-stock inventory item for fuel charges. Once this item has been established, indicate the appropriate item number in the field provided in the Rental Manager setup screen. For tips on how to create a non-stock inventory item, see Non-Stock.

Use for Sale of Rental Equipment

Apply $0.00 Cost

Enabling this option will replace the items purchase cost with 0.00 when selling the rental equipment. Using the buttons to the right of the respective field, you will select the default item set up within the IC for the sale of a serialized rental item and non-serialized rental item. The items selected must be stock items.

GL Rental Asset

Using the drop down menu, you can select the GL account associated with Rental Asset.

GL Rental Depr.

Using the drop down menu, you can select the GL account associated with the Rental Depr.
