Display Pole
Display pole fields include the following:
TTL
The TTL field on the display pole represents the total sale (extended value of line items plus sales tax), the amount due. In the example above, the total sale was for $123.45.
Tax
The Tax field represents the collected sales tax included in the TTL field. The example shows a total tax of $6.99 collected on the sale.
PD
The PD value is the amount tendered (i.e. received) at the point of sale counter. The example indicates that a total of $200 was presented by the customer.
CHG
The difference between the amount due and tendered amount of cash given to the sales clerk is displayed in the CHG field. As indicated by the display field of CHG, the total change given to the customer would be $76.55.
