Taxable Item Types
Create the appropriate taxable item codes to best fit your needs. Click on the New button to create a new tax type or highlight one of the listed types and click the Properties tab to edit the tax type.
Enter a Tax ID and a description of the tax type. Check the Default box if appropriate.
Within the IC | Inventory File, each item is assigned a tax status from the tax table if it is taxable.
