HP (Symbol ST2208) Barcode Scanner Configuration Notes
The default configuration of the HP Barcode Scanner can be modified to include a return after a barcode is scanned.
Note: With these files, printing may make the barcodes unreadable by the scanner. If this happens, make sure your print settings aren't scaling the page (Scale 100%, no scaling, etc) and the Print Mode is not Optimized printing (Raster printing, etc).
Print the following document which has been extracted from the HP Programming Reference Guide to help configure the scanner to include a carriage return after each scan.
2. Scan the barcode above "Scan Options"
3. Scan the barcode above "<DATA><SUFFIX>"
4. Scan the barcode above "Enter"
5. Test barcode scanner with an product barcode to confirm configuration.
Print the following document which will set the scanner to recognize UPC-A and UPC-E bar codes
