Topaz Signature Pad
The Topaz Electronic Signature Pad requires OCX drivers for proper operation within TransActPOS. Included with each signature pad will be an installation disk.
Plug in the signature pad AFTER the installation of the software is complete.
The installation should have a sequence of installation similar to the following:
1) Welcome Screen - select Next
2) Read Me File - select Next
3) Choose Destination Location - select Next
4) SigPlus Install - select Windows 98\Me\2000\XP\2003\Vista and then OK
5) Select SigLite 1x4 (T-S460 or T-S461) or SigLite LCD 1x5 (T-L460) - as the instructions suggest, check the back of the unit for the correct model - then select OK
6) Select the Connection Type - select HSB(USB type) then select OK
7) HSB Tablet Message - confirm that topaz unit is unplugged then select OK
8) License Agreement - read agreement and select Agree
9) Demo Ocx.exe -typically the demo is installed to allow third party verification of unit's functionality
10) SigPlus Documentation Directory - make note of the directory and then press OK
