ECatalog Price Control Overview

It seems with every order, costs are inching up to reflect the price increases of petroleum based products.  It gets harder to keep pricing current because of the sheer volume of price increases.  Now, True Value Stores have an easy to use tool to aid you in maintaining your retail margins.  With the Afaria communications software, your direct link to True Value Company's Mainframe, and TransActPOS ECatalog Price Control, you are back in control of your retail pricing.

 

The process begins by downloading True Value Company's weekly Item Maintenance file that is available on Friday afternoon.  Then go to Inventory Control | Maintenance | ECatalog Price Control | New | Select "True Value Company" as your Vendor | Verify your date range.  TransActPOS will sort True Value Company's item file and compare it to your item file, giving you a listing of store specific price/cost differences.

Tip: Checking Catalog / MSRP differences often provides the best results.  

 

You can copy all new prices into the ECatalog Price Control Item listing area by selecting the Copy All Prices button or if you choose you can work with one item at a time.  The choice is yours with TransActPOS.
