The Accounts Receivable Module is an option when purchasing TransActPOS. This option allows for in house charge accounts, generation of finance charges, and printing of customer ledgers and statements.
Exclude Sales Tax from Payment Discount Amount
The payment discount amount will be calculated only on the price of the items on the invoice and will not include the sales tax. For example, if the subtotal (before tax) is $20.00 and the discount is $5.00, the discount will come off of the subtotal ($20.00), not the total (that includes sales tax).
Payment Discount applicable to current and non-current
A customer discount is still allowed if the customer's account is not current. Otherwise, customer discounts will be discontinued anytime that a customer's account becomes overdue.
Apply Payment Discount on Cash Sale
Enabling this options will allow a customer's payment discount to be applied to cash sales. Normally, this discount will only applit to account charges.
Base Payment Discount on Invoice Amount
The payment discount will be based on the whole invoice amount and not individual items. This will override the No Payment Discount option from the Change Price screen option on the POS | Ring Sale screen.

Print the payment discount amount on the invoice
Enabling this option will print the amount of payment discount available for this invoice where the terms included payment discount.
Apply the payment discount to credits
By default, the payment discount is not applied to invoice credits. Checking this box posts the available payment discount to the invoice at the time of the invoice creation. The payment discount amount is printed on the invoice for credits automatically.
