Inter-store Relationships
TransActPOS uses serial numbers to identify stores within a multi-store setup, enabling automatic recognition and labeling of transactions (like Purchase Orders and Sales Orders) that occur between these interconnected stores. TransActPOS Home Office manages the sharing of inventory and customer information between multiple stores.
Inter-Store Relationship Setup:
During the initial configuration of the TransActPOS system (when it's set up for multiple stores), the system establishes connections between the different store locations.
Identification of Stores:
These connections, or "inter-store relationships," are defined by specific identifiers associated with each store and present at the TransActPOS Home Office.
TransActPOS Serial Number:
TransActPOS Home Office Serial Number:
This number identifies the "Home Office" operating within the multi-store environment.
Automatic Recognition in Orders:
When you create a Purchase Order and select one of the linked stores (within the same Multi-Store environment) as the "customer", the system automatically recognizes this as an "Inter-store" relationship.
"Inter-store" Title on Orders:
Both the Purchase Order and the associated Sales Order will display the title "Inter-store" within their respective modules, indicating that the transaction is occurring between stores in the same multi-store system.
