Stihl ECommerce Strite Program

The Strite program is an ECommerce solution offered by Stihl that allows customers to purchase Stihl products online and have them delivered to the customer's home or to your store for pickup. 
 
From Stihl's website, your customer can set your store as the dealer and select a delivery option.  The customer completes the purchase normally.

Stihl then sends your store a notification that a purchase has been made, and you have the opportunity to confirm that you have the item in stock.  In the case you do not have the item, you can cancel the purchase, and the purchase amount is immediately credited back to the customer's credit card through the online program. 
 
To account for the sale of the item monetarily and for inventory purposes, ring up the sale like you would an in-store purchase, using Non-Cash as the payment type.  You may enter a note in the Reference field that indicates that it was an online purchase.
 
Stihl sends a direct deposit to your store for the payment amount.
 
When reconciling the shift, remember to reconcile the non-cash payment field.
