Surcharge Setup - Company Setup - Payment

Once the Surcharge Module is added to TransActPOS, surcharges are turned on under System > Company Setup > Payment Types > Credit Surcharge %.

Any value above 0.00 (zero) will activate surcharge on Credit Cards.  To turn it off, set the percentage to 0.  Current Visa standards are no more then 3.00%.  This should be set based on your processors recommendation for surcharges.
 
The Card Surcharge Item will be automatically created as CCSC when the module licensing is setup in TransActPOS.
 
Note: If Rental module is installed, Utilize Rental Wizard and Version 2 must be turned on under System > Company Setup > Rental Manager Pg 4 > Utilize Rental Wizard and  Use Version 2 of Rental Wizard.
