Import Customers provides input of customer information from an Excel spreadsheet.
Import Customers
This allows you to import a spreadsheet of customers' details.
Import File
Click the ... button to find the file to import.

Tax Type
Select the tax type to be applied to taxed customers and the non-tax type to be applied to non-taxed customers.

Account Charge

Check Account Charge, and enter the account charge information to be applied to imported customers.

Enter the Credit Limit value to be applied to accounts during the import process.

Enter the Finance Charge monthly percentage (Annual Finance Charge rate / 12)

Select from the available list the Payments Terms to be applied to accounts during the import process.

Select the Statement Type to be applied to accounts during the import process.

Import
Click Import to import the customer spreadsheet.
A message is shown when the import is complete.

Data Template
This generates a template to enter customer details into for importation.
Create Template
This creates a spreadsheet template into which you can input all customer details.
Complete the spreadsheet according to the import reference sheet. Files must be saved as Microsoft Excel 5.0/95 Workbook (*.xls).
Note that if no credit limit is entered for a customer, it is imported as $0. The ltaxed field should be left blank for taxable customers.

This prints a reference sheet to explain how to input each field in the template.
