Matrix

Select a matrix to determine how the coupon interacts with the items to which it is applied.
 

Standard

A standard coupon is a cash value coupon that can be applied to any item except those marked No Discounts. 
 

Std No Disc

This functions the same as a standard coupon but ignores the No Discounts setting.
 

Percent Off

A percent off coupon applies the specified percentage off to all items entered prior to entering the coupon except those marked No Discounts.

Percent Off All

This functions the same as a percent off coupon but ignores the No Discounts Setting.
 

Percent Off Abs

Same as a Percent Off, but applies to all items on the order.
 

Cash Value

A cash value coupon is applied generally to an invoice rather than discounting any particular item or items.

Depending on the coupon type, this field may be a dollar amount off or a percentage off.

Minimum Purchase

3. Minimum Purchase
A minimum purchase coupon requires a minimum amount of retail merchandise to be purchased in order for the coupon to apply.  The discount amount is taken off the overall invoice subtotal rather than a single item.
 
If the minimum purchase amount has not been met, the following error appears upon clicking End Sale.

Checking this ensures the coupon only applies to retail priced items, not items already discounted.
