Sales History

The Sales History button presents a sales summary for the current year of the selected item. Select the Prior Year and Next Year buttons will recalculate the report for the indicated year. The reporting period is based upon the calendar year. Select the PrtScn to print the displayed sales history information.

Item Ranking

The 12 Mth and 3 Mth columns indicate the item's ranking for the prior 12 month or the prior 3 month period as of the stated month. Use System | File Maintenance | Recalculate | Item Ranking to apply the item ranking according to your desired percentages stated within System | Company Setup | POS Information 3.

By clicking Graph in the top right corner, you can create a bar graph showing the quantity vs. sales vs. profit.

Retail Margin Calculation

The Retail Margin % is found out by following this equation: (Retail Price - Avg. Cost)/Retail Price
The Catalog Margin % is found out by following this equation: (Retail Price - Cat. Cost)/Retail Price
The Replacement cost is the Cat. Cost unless there is no Catalog, in which Replacement cost is the Last Cost.
