Select Add items to the Registry

Upon selecting the Add button, the user is presented with the "Add Item by" screen and is required to select the method of adding to the registry.

Items entered into the registry will appear within the listing window displaying the Item ID, Description and Requested Quantity.

Add Item by Symbol 1504

1. Add Item by Symbol 1504
Upon selecting the Symbol 1504 option, the system presents the Symbol 1504 Interface screen which includes the "Get Scans" button.  If this is the incorrect screen, select Close to leave the current screen.
 
 
Selecting the Get Scans button, the system requires that the Symbol 1504 is plugged into the available port and will then download the scanned list of items.  If any scanned items are not located in the inventory, the system returns a listing of item numbers scanned but not located.
 
When scanning with the Symbol 1504, the user may scan an individual item multiple times to get the desired quantity.  The item list and item quantity can be edited upon download of the list into the gift registry.

Adding items to the gift registry is straight forward. As with all item lookup screens, the user enters the available item information and then locates the correct item.
 
 
Upon locating the item, the user may enter the "Quantity Requested".  Pressing the Select button adds the item to the gift registry.
 
 
Once the item is placed into the gift registry, the item's requested quantity may be changed using the Edit button.  An item may also be removed from the list using the Delete button.
