All Item Download

This guide is for the All Item Import of the ECatalog for True Value stores.

To get to the All Item Download area:

1. Go to the Options Module

2. Go to the IOR Menu

3. Go to Utilities

4. Go to Maintenance

All ECatalog updates are now separated into 2 parts:

1. The first part is the All Item Download - this brings in the text portion of the electronic catalog

2. The second part is the All Price Download - this brings in the price and cost components of the particular items. This includes the tier pricing and the tier costing within the system

To do the processing:

1. Select each checkbox. NOTE: if you just want to do the prices, by default, both boxes will be checked. If you just check the all price download it will automatically select the all item download.

2. Next select START. The system will communicate via the Afaria client. NOTE: This must be done on the workstation that has the Afaria client installed on it.

3. The system will download the appropriate all item file. Once downloaded, the system will process that file

4. Once both files are brought down, the tier item maintenance process will begin as it goes through the individual items as seen in the upper right hand corner with the 6 digit value and the far right value is the number of items updated

5. Upon completion, you can go into the ECatalog price control process, which will compare your current inventory price to that price that is found in the ECatalog
