Accounts Receivable

4. Accounts Receivable
The Accounts Receivable module, an accrual-based accounting system, maintains customer information, account balances, contacts, pricing, and customer jobs.  Posting payments, application of credits, payment and credit reversals, and posting finance charges are done within this module.

Sales Orders

5. Sales Orders
The Sales Orders module manages the process of providing customers with a price quote for selected items and ultimately invoicing the customer for the products purchased.  A sales order can be created directly from a quote, or a sales order can be created independently.
6

Inventory Control

6. Inventory Control
The Inventory Control module manages all aspects of the products sold within your operation, including vendor files and an electronic item catalog. The TransActPOS system is based upon weighted average cost inventory valuation, but it can also provide inventory valuation and class sales reporting on a current replacement cost basis.
7

Purchase Orders

7. Purchase Orders
The Purchase Order module manages the ordering of replacement and new inventory items into the inventory control module. Purchase orders can be created with the wireless application, through the PO module, or from a sales order.

Service Tickets

8. Service Tickets
The Service module is designed to aid in the processing of repair services integrated with the inventory and customer files in your store's system.  It includes warranty tracking and also interfaces with the PO module to order parts tied to a service repair.
9

Options

9. Options
The Options module contains the IOR Menu, which is the interface between the store and electronic vendors, wireless unit management, and club program maintenance.  The Rental module can also be accessed through Options.
10

System

10. System
The Systems module contains settings and options for customizing TransAct to your store's needs.  It also contains support files that run in the background of other modules and the security settings that grant access to module functions.
