New Media Retailer markets the store for the eCommerce solution

Store desires to have the New Media Retailer eCommerce solution

Profile Systems Design Group, Inc. is notified by New Media Retailer or the store to get a quote for the TransActPOS New Media Retailer module to communicate with Shopify
-
The quote is sent to the customer via the preferred electronic signature utility.

The customer signs the quote for acceptance.

The quote is converted to a Sales Order
-
The Sale Order is set to Approved after the stated payment method is confirmed.

The Activation Code is modified in PSDG Serial to include the House-Hasson - eCommerce solution.

The new activation code is applied to the store’s system.

New Media Retailer is contacted by the TransActPOS staff for a username and password for the communications module.

Upon receipt the credentials are updated into the IOR > House-Hasson > Utilities > Store Information page.

The TransActPOS applications are restarted.

Upon restart, the Mercury Server application will start for NMR and process items that are set to WebStore.
Setup of TransActPOS for New Media Retailer
Within the PSDGSerial, the application that creates a store’s TransActPOS Activation Code, the Additional Vendor’s section includes the House-Hasson Hardware communications option and the Ecommerce (New Media Retailer) solution.

Check the Ecommerce (New Media Retailer) option if the store chooses to utilize this billable module.

Apply the newly created activation code to the store’s installation of TransActPOS within the System > Activation Code menu option.

Exit and restart the TransActPOS, TATug and Mercury Server applications on the server.

Restart TransActPOS on the server.
Once the activation code is applied and TransActPOS is restarted, the Mercury Server should implement the New Media Retailer communications as seen below.
Support Files
In the root of the TransActPOSServer folder are the following files that support the New Media Communications.
NewMediaRetailer_log.txt
The NewMediaRetailer_log.txt records the communications activities using the credentials provided within the House-Hasson Store Information.
NewMediaRetailer.ini
Contains login information for the New Media Retailer Communications. This file’s information is displayed in the Vendor Setup screen above.

NewMediaRetailer_Last.txt
NewMediaRetailer_Last.txt contains the date and time the communications to New Media Retailer was successful.
Deleting the NewMediaRetailer_Last.txt file in the TransActPOSServer folder will invoke the Mercury Server to invoke the New Media Communications. The screen below will appear on the server indicating that it is Building the NMR Data File for current item count of the total number of Webstore Items.
Once completed with building the Data File, the same screen will indicate that the CSV file is being created.
After this process is completed, the communications to New Media Retailer are attempted and then recorded in NewMediaRetailer_Last.txt
NewMediaRetailer_data.CSV
The NewMediaRetailer_data.CSV contains the output of the Mercury Server process that collects all items that have been indicated as WebStore items on the IC > General Tab.
