Reducing disk space
TransActPOS will warn users of an approaching disk space availability issues with messaging within the main screen of the application. If messaging appears, the TransActPOS Hardware Team will be happy to assist in addressing the issue.
TransActPOS does create daily and monthly reports to provide many "As of Reports" for quick reference. Generally, store will access these store in the immediate time frame for reference but much of this historic data can be deleted from the system after a few years.
Stored PDF files from the reporting system
M:\TransActPOSServer\Data01\autoreports\Year\*.*
Delete individual years within the Autoreport folder.
Delete individual years within the Favorite_Output folder.
Vendor Download and upload folders
Related to each communicating vendor, there are download and upload folders that are used to store the files passes between systems. Only those of the immediate time period are needed.

The the files used within the communications process are stored within folder structure containing the year/month/day.
